Graphic Design is an interdisciplinary branch of design and fine arts. It borrows from and builds on both fields simultaneously. Graphic Design applies art techniques and styles to the creation and selling of products and experiences. The most obvious example of this is an advertisement, but graphic designers create many other things as well: logos, book and album covers, t-shirts, tote bags and concert flyers, just to name a few. In this personalized virtual class, individuals will learn the foundations of graphic design and cultivate their creative side through hands-on projects and guidance from our highly-qualified team of professional teaching artists. No previous experience in art or design is required. Each class is personalized to meet the goals, needs and interests of the artist, and all classes are taught by designers who are passionate about supporting the next generation. Private and small group classes available but we recommend starting in a one-on-one setting. $60 per hour for group instruction || $90 per hour for private instruction PLEASE NOTE: a consultation is highly recommended prior to enrollment in any Art Detectives class.
